Free Aim is the way to go for friendly lobbies. People are less likely to grief when they actually have to work at killing you. So the squeakers with jets and helicopters stay out as well? For the most part. They probably don't know how to change their settings.

I'll be on tonight with my second character looking for associate work if any of you CEOs are around. This update is exactly the kind of thing that I created my second character for. Not grinding for xp or race wins to unlock stuff, just role playing as a low level criminal looking to work his way up.

As long as you can fly a buzzard, drive a brickard, and succesfully evade NPCs while working for an amazing 10k/delivery(of 250k worth of goods), youre hired!

I've been pleasantly surprised with how well it has worked in free aim. (I hope I didn't jinx that now!) I'm glad that I've come out of Invite Only & Crew Only modes to explore the world of Free Aim with others that I don't know. It is a cool world to see others in game and not know if they are going to start something (and with my weak skills in fighting I won't finish ) or just go on their way. So far it's 90% will leave you alone so it has been good. Heck I've even added a person or two to my FL due to meeting some cool people. Good stuff!!
I only hope that this will continue once the shiny wears off this update. I'm waiting until after the July 4th update, assuming there is one, before I try the CEO route. Until then I am always available for Associate work.

Some advice I received during some discussion with a GTA forum acquaintance: "Many sales missions are fair/easy with just one player (even with multiple vehicles to move), but not all. Generally Titan-involved missions really need another player to run the radar-jammer or provide armed escort. If you get one of those (where if you crash, you lose it all), force-close the game with the PS button and reload the game. They will take away up to 3 crates, but that's easy to replace; a full warehouse isn't." Thought I'd pass it along for those times you're not comfortable with the sales mission they give you. Don't think I'll bother with it much, and I haven't tested it myself, but thought it could be of use for everyone.

Again, I've not tested this so try at your own risk. If anyone does try it, let us know how it works please.

This does work I was doing a sell mission today and got blown up by someone else in the session and I forced close the game as you suggested with ps button and reloaded in to game and I still had all the crates I originally had

Yeah, I finally had to use the close application trick on a sell mission. I was alone in a public lobby and had to drop 15 packages off from the Titan. Everything was going smoothly through about 9 or 10 drops, but then I managed to get trapped by a tiny antenna that was obscured by the red smoke from a drop zone. Luckily the titan didn't explode, it just stopped dead in it's tracks. It took me a minute to even realize it was hung on something, I thought the game had just frozen or something. Anyway, after the restart I still had all my crates to sell. My warehouses are only the medium size, but it still made my heart skip a beat to think I'd wasted all that time.

I know the exact drop you're referring to Austin. The red smoke covers that radio antenna so sneakingly, if you're coming from the south. Now im wise to it but my first time doing the drop, luckily, I was banking to the right to make another drop. As I passed it, the rear tail of the titan just skimmed it..... Had to change my pants.

Slower than the Race Douchebag by a bit i.m.o. ymmv. Handles better (less understeer) than Race item but less grunt. Possibly slightly higher top end on new one.

So I see that Rockstar is having a sale on offices and warehouses (20% discount) this week. I haven't bought an office yet and was curious. Anyone have any opinions about the CEO stuff? Is it a waste of money or do you wish you hadn't spent the cash? Anyone love it and glad they did? Any opinions would be appreciated. I'm sure this is covered in detail on gtaforums but I can't trust those idiots to get a real answer. So what say ye?

I'm sure this is covered in detail on gtaforums but I can't trust those idiots to get a real answer. So what say ye? I'm glad I got the office, but it is a big investment that then requires a lot of time to make money. I went with two medium warehouses so that I wouldn't have to deal with cool down timers between buy missions. I've grinded the heck out of them and have now started making money over my initial investment. One thing I would have done differently is to get both warehouses as near to my office as possible. I originally thought I could use any warehouse to drop cargo off, but it has to be the specific warehouse. Getting them close to your office minimizes travel time back to start another mission. It's most fun when you have reliable players as associates, but it's fine to grind even the 3 crate missions on your own if you can get a solo lobby. Speaking of, it's easy to accomplish this by changing your MTU value to 578 in the network setup on your PS4. I do this when I know I'm going to just be running CEO missions on my own, then change it back to the automatic setup to join up with friends. I feel like in the long run it is a good investment, but there are still plenty of other ways to grind $ that don't require the initial outlay. I'd have to go back and look at all of it, but I think after the cheapest office (with upgraded decor and weapon safe), 2 medium warehouses, and upgrading all delivery vehicles (probably not necessary if you're careful with your lobbies), I spent nearly $5 mil to get started.

$5 million start-up costs?!? I have my highest bank balance ever and it's "only" $2 million.

$5 million start-up costs?!? I have my highest bank balance ever and it's "only" $2 million. You can easily do it cheaper, but I wanted to have 2 warehouses to start and spent a little extra on the office upgrades rather than buying a better office. But yes, it was more than I was expecting to spend and I'd been hoarding cash for a while to even get to that point. I'm back above that level already though.
