Just to have the challenge parameters right here for easy reminding:
- 2 laps, best two total laps
- Class: Muscle
I've done just three quick test runs and got a 4:51:240 with my custom Ruiner, 4:54:574 w/ custom Gauntlet and 5:03:374 with a stock Dominator. I'm sure those times will be beaten by a lot since I took it somewhat carefully at some points so as not to mess up the total time. Spontaneously, I feel like this will be won by a Dominator with its brutal speed, if someone manages to fully control the slippery bastard while flooring it around the track
This a pretty fun track. I've done some lapping on it before with sports cars. What's important to note is that you can floor the pedal for a very good part of the track, picking the right lines. The only times you actually have to slow down in my experience so far:
- The turn after the big first jump.
- Turning into the uphill section, of course.
- Right before the car jumps for the first time in the uphill section. You may want to very briefly ease off now and again while climbing if it feels like it's going to go awry.
- A few of the turns in the part up on the hills, up to where the descent starts.
Once you've straightened your car out on the downwards slope, there's no need to release R2 (or w/e it is on the 'box) until you're doing the big jump at the start. Of course, there're some parts that aren't without risk, especially in muscles, but to get the best possible time, it's a track where you rarely cease going full throttle.
