The APEX folks put together an Endurance race challenge and invited some RRR1 drivers to partake. I did not know what was going down when I accepted the race invite and it took a bit to understand how it was going to work. Mo-seph, ToBContinued08, Cuz05, and Skoader7 joined in also not knowing what was happening. Sorry you had to leave before the start Mo-seph, I think you would have really enjoyed it. Race was on a custom track Through the grapevine GP which was a modified version of R*'s Through the Grapevine. They added some features to eliminate some corner cutting. Car was a stock Comet (was like a GT3 Cup Challenge race) We had a 3 lap qualifying run which determined the starting grid positions by best lap time achieved. Race was 16 laps, with a rolling start after a warmup lap. The race was over 42 minutes to complete, and we lost several during from connection issues. I had a decent race. Qualified in 2nd position and held it for 14 laps. 3rd caught up with me and passed when I rubbed a tire obstacle. I fought back and we had a good battle for a lap was making a pass on the straight then I caught his slipstream and it shot me off track like a rocket. I was able to finish 3rd. TBC came in a respectable 4th. APEX has some fast drivers. Bradderz080 was setting amazing lap times, which no one else could touch. Overall it was a fun race, I would like to take part in another. If you like this kind of thing post up. I think APEX be happy to have us go again.

Definitely interesting to be a part of and really irritating to drop connection 3 laps from the end. Was having a good tussle with Skoader and one of their guys for last place, their guy dropped out, I had a bad lap and lost a couple seconds on Skoader, then lost my connection. Was shaping up nicely so it was a shame. I struggled, I have to say. That track isn't one of my best, I've never got to grips with it and I was very unfamiliar with the Comet, will hope to do better next time. Would've been nice if 2 of the guys that qualified behind me hadn't got dropped....
Bradderz tho, wow. When that guy is in his element he is superhuman. He lapped us 3, no one else did. He was on my radar for a stupidly short amount of time. I remember a race on Dipping In with him just before I joined RRR. I was half a dozen seconds ahead of the other 4/5 guys and I felt like I'd put a couple of fast, clean laps in once the 1st lap separated the field. His fastest lap was 15 seconds ahead of mine and he finished a good 30 before me. He wasn't so hot on my multi-class, traffic on playlist so bear that in mind, hehe.
Oh and apologies to TBC. I hit something, he crashed in behind and flew off the track. Think I moved over to let you through when you inevitably caught up, sorry to have cost you time with my clumsiness.

All good man. It happens. I think at the moment I was still lost on what the hell was going on lol
Interesting indeed. Next run we need to use a track RRR is familiar with. I know it's just a recreated track with props but still would have been nice to run a few practice laps in required car.
