I am trying to edit my signature in GTAF which I have done at least once already and don't remember it being this much of an issue. I was able to put links in to other pages etc. But for some reason now I can't seem to do anything with it. The "Link" thing locks up and will not accept or regect after I put a URL in it...it also has a shitload more options than I know what to do with. I can't get the text window to show me the code at all...just a preview look. What am I doing wrong?

OK so I go to edit my profile and I see this... And I highlight a bit of the text in the white window that I want to be a link and thenclick the link button and I get this... At which point I am stuck. If I paste a URL in the box it shows up but removes the HTTP:// part. not that it matters because the only way out of this screen is the back button, I can't cancel or leave it any other way.

What do you mean by it strips the http://? If you mean just that dialog, I think that's the expected behavior. You choose the protocol on the left. Defining it again would be redundant.
Or do you mean it strips it from your signature after posting?

I only get the "url" option when trying to create a link... Maybe try another browser? Sounds like you're getting some odd rendering and things which are supposed to be hidden are still visible.

Can you just write it in BBC code and skip the URL button?
