Figured I would post this since we were talking about something similar in another thread but it is a different topic. Here is my baby I have owned since 2002. This is a North American Focus changed to look like a European. Its a big thing for NA guys to do this kind of conversion and from what I understand the European guys do the same sometimes with NA parts. Custom Engine mods are as follows. Intake Manifold | 65mm Throttle body | Volant Cold Air Intake | SVT headers | SVT CAT | FocusSport race exhaust | VF Engineering Poly Engine mounts | SCT computer flash (chipped) | Android App called Torque to view and check all readings from the engine. Other mods. Front and rear European Ford bumpers | ST170 Headlights with matching grill inserts | Reiger Lip with ABS cup lip | Euro rear tail lights | Working rear fog in rear bumper | Eibach lowered springs | Eibach Struts | Eibach F/R Anti-sway bars | Focus RS Rear Wing | Ford Racing 17" tuner wheels. Some custom mods in the interior like SVT (Recaro) leather seats, Premier USB Head unit with a 32 gig MP3 drive with new Boston Acoustic speakers in doors and Premier shallow 10" sub in hatchback in a custom wheel well fiberglass/wood box. The engine is rated around 155hp at the wheels with 168lbs of torque. I have had it up to around 135 with no problems.

Ah, another MX-5 owner. I bought my wife a 2003 Miata(MX-5). It doesn't have any mods but it is still fun to drive.
I love the camper.

Bang for the buck I think the MX-5 is one the best cars out there (if you like roadsters). This is our 2nd (had a 1st gen NA) and we love it. Is the wifes daily driver but I got to drive it today because she is off work Not really into mods as it works well the way it is, do not want to compromise reliability, and I don't have extra money to spend on it because of my other hobbies
Thanks on the camper. I recently got it off craigslist for a bargain. It is a toyhauler and has a large garage in the back. Carry alot of bikes and atvs. Only used it twice so far.
Nice hot hatch you got there.

Alrighty... I drive a mildly modified 2010 Subaru Legacy GT. I don't really keep a build list around. Too much evidence. I'm a little nervous with those KW's being exposed to MN winter. I feel like I'm missing some stuff... I'm not sure what I'm putting down for power now days. Before the engine build I was around 335awtq/265awhp figure standard 20% awd drivetrain loss for about 418/331 at the crank. E85 probably nets me 20wtq across the board based on similar builds. I had timing pulled back after the build though, so I expect peak is similar but the powerband is further to the left and flatter. Anyway, meet the biggest pain in the ass in my life without a social security number: Leading a successful charity cruise/swap meet to a local dealership to benefit Scoobies for Boobies (don't mind the missing center cap): Waiting for a shakedown outside NF Performance: Exhaust going on. The trunk has been debadged since:

Nice, I was always kind of curious what you could do with a Legacy. Turns out, quite a bit, lol.

Golf MK3 89 Yamaha FZR400 I got no pics but the google ones come pretty damn close. I like the old school/ box look of cars and motorcycles as most manufactures design with smooth lines nowadays what a shame

Nice, I was always kind of curious what you could do with a Legacy. Turns out, quite a bit, lol. Mechanically a Legacy GT tends to be similar to a WRX. A lot of parts are interchangable, which means a lot of aftermarket upgrade paths are similar. There was even a "spec.b" LGT that more or less got the STi's 6MT with taller gears, bilsteins, brembos and a few other goodies. WRX, STi and LGT's are basically like big boy Legos. I wasn't being facetious when I said it's mildly built. Once people start going aftermarket turbos, hybrid engines and transmission swaps, things get a little more serious. Love the sleeper aspect of the Subi. Indeed! Though it's a lot less sleeper as soon as I turn it over. The exhaust note is... not subtle. The 35% tint was apparently the invitation for kids to try to start running me in mom's camry or some clapped out neon. That said, no worries about getting pulled over for 46 in a 45 because OMFGIANTWING. I had an 07 STi before this. Got more attention than I cared for and it was a bit small for daily duty with a kid. Not many know what they're looking at when it comes to LGT's in general, even less so for 5th gen (2010+) models and the new ELH + low mount turbo layout (aka: more low end torque, sooner). I prefer it that way. It makes it that much sweeter to eat an STi's lunch on a road course...

I have my first car which was one of my family member's old cars who he didn't need. It's just a red 2003 KIA RIO. Only problem is the only people willing to take me driving live an hour or more away so I barely ever get to despite having my learners for 2 and a half years... :/

I have one of these... (Thats a photo of eBay cos I'm lazy!) It's on 44k, I drive a lot… But it's the same colour scheme. I'm trying to get some mud flaps for it cos it's a pain to keep clean, and I want some spoiler extensions and the window lip spoiler things! ( I haven't a clue!) I also want to fit an aftermarket head unit but they're a pin in this vehicle as it's all built in. No sub's for me.. (Which sucks when you're related to someone who fits in car entertainment full time!)

You might like this site. linkI saw your focus, looks pretty clean! Loving the number plate on that bad boy! I'm jealous of the older Fords tbh, pre 2009 mainly as the stereo systems in them are easily upgradeable. They've made everything difficult on the newer ones. Even changing lights you have to remove carpet etc just to switch a bulb…. You guys should have got the 2013 Fiesta ST over there right? Those are almost identical to this in body but with a few extra plastic bits and an ecoboost engine!! They don't make a Focus ST 3 dr anymore. I almost got one but at 5 doors was too big, and the older Focus ST just drinks too much, not to mention insurance costs... I love my car, I wish it had more punch sometimes, but it's probably good it doesn't as I already drive this too fast! Thanks for the website link! Gonna have a browse! (Today is payday! oops!)

Yes, we have the Fiesta ST over here now. It kind of snuck up on me, lol. Saw one in the wild the other day and was like WTF? My wife just rolled her eyes. They will not bring it over in a 2dr though, us stupid fat Americans I guess, lol. I test drove the new Focus ST and did not like how I sat in it so I did not pick one up. I always told myself if they brought an RS over here I would pick one up but they never did. There is only "one" legal owner of a Focus RS in the united states, he lives up in Chicago. He has a dual citizenship with Mexico. He bought it down there and drove it up. Imagine that, you can buy an RS in Mexico but not the US. Freakin idiotic. He had Focus people all the way up to Illinois helping him along the way from the Focus Forums.

The Focus ST is a great little car over here. The terminal understeer and torque steer are a little annoying because FWD, but other than that it's a riot. They sound awfully purrrrty too.

I'm also into my cars in a big way. Must start off by saying Groundzero thats a very nicely modded Focus, I like what you've done with it reminds me of my mates old one I've just sold my Focus I had the ST3 this one I've replaced it with the new Mercedes A Class AMG I've also got a Corsa VXR this ones a toy and has been slightly fettled, I've also got my baby, this ones my pride and joy, i've owned it for 6 years now and its had some money spent on it and you would struggle to find another one like it. Unfortunately due to having 3 cars this one very rarely sees the light of day. The list of mods go on for this one. With some unique parts fitted. 2.0ltr V6 24V NIVEC (easier to tune) 1996 N reg • Manual conversion with group N clutch • Uprated belts and cam by eurospec • 17” Masitaly 5 Spokes • McGard Locking wheel nuts • Core custom spoiler • Full black leather interior • Drivers and passengers TRS detachable 3 point harnesses • Pioneer Dvd player with built in touchscreen • Infinity components • 3 x 10” rockford Fostgates subs • Clarion 6 x 9’s • Kenwood Amp • Tein RA Suspension Fully adjustable race spec coilovers • Front and rear struts braces from Kempys • Blitz SUS power air filter with custom ducting • HKS Super Drager Exhaust with custom backbox from tubetorque • HKS Sports Cat bypass • Custom Polyurathene engine mounts from Camskill • GPX Brake conversion • EBC 36 Groove Discs • EBC Greenstuff Pads • Braided brake hoses and racing brake fluid • Apexi SAFC Fuel and air flow controller • Chrome dials • Alloy pedals • Momo alloy gearknob • Alloy Radiator clamps • Type F Radiator cover • Alloy Kick plates with illuminated FTO badges • PIAA HID Headlight conversion That's all I can think off at the moment, I do have a full build folder documenting every change for it as well.

(We didn't pay that much for ours ) Little help on what that is for those of us across the pond? I have a strange love for all kinds of cars, even the pedestrian econoboxes so long as they have a little personality to them. I'm on the hunt for a little hatch/wagon for daily driving. Problem with a forged internal build is the clock is ticking every time I put a duty cycle on those pistons... Kinda leaning on a Focus or just an old accord/camry or something. Something NA and cheap to spin a wrench on. Maybe I need a "what should I drive IRL" thread.
