Just an entirley random topic inspired by the awesome tea i had last night and a weird game i play with a mate at work.
Every day i ask him to guess what i had for tea last night.
Feel free to guess, but ill post a pic tomorrow of what i had tonight, and so on.
If anyone wants to join in n show off yoir foodie delights ill add your name to the op for people to guess what you had.
If anyone guesses right you get a virtual high five and 1 point towards your scorboard standings... Ive no idea how this wil turn out but i had an awesome meal, and ill post a pic in 14 hours for you to drool over.
Hmmmm.... I'm sensing it wasn't fish and chips. But was it a Chinese or an Indian - the most obvious of takeaways? I don't feel like you be talking food-porn about pizza.... unless you have some artisan pizzeria with a wood-fired oven near you.... hmmmm.....
Two beef patties sandwiching tandoori chicken pieces, lovingly layered over fresh salad with drizzles of BBQ sauce all packed into a soft brioche bun. Accompanied by a bed of seasons chips and onion rings.
I actually couldnt pick it up (mrs managed it just fine despite being a size 8 with hands half the size of mine) so I reverted to using a Knive and Fork
was a beast cuz, i genuinely thought at one point it had bested me but i persevered through meat sweats to finsih it off....
so whos got a guess for what im eating tonight... I cant give any clues as i really dont actually know what shes preparing, but ill share it with you all tomorrow and tease you with hints when I know more...
oooo thats a favourable choice PK... as of yet im still not aware of whats on the menu today.
Top tip on the beans with a knob of butter. although we're a ground pepper household... i enjoy a bit of mustard or lea n perrins in ym beans but its not to the mrs' taste (n the kids defo wouldnt enjoy them)
Pffft. Stick some curry powder/paste in yer beans: instant man food. For those of a more delicate composition, try cheese. Gives them that velvety smoothness that butter does, with bonus cheese flavour. Mustard should only ever be used with beef, pork or in a cheese sauce.
oooo, this has almost become "food pk wants to tantalise mo with" thread lol... but no it wasnt a fish meal... nad im garlic intolerant so i can only have it in very limited quantities otherwise its 3 days of pain for me
