Obviously were all a little infatuated with GTAV and GTA:O... But does anyone still play other gAmes??
As I wont let my 8 year old watch me play GTA, even if im only racing, when she wants to put her skills to the test we play a little Gran Turismo 5 (drives the g/f mad when I talk about both gta5 and gt5 as she fails to spot the difference).
Then if were not in a racing mood we often play Sega Superstars tennis, or when I fancy a change from los santos (not often) ill cause stealthy havoc on the streets of Boston in Assassins Creed III.
So what other games do you enjoy when your not burnin a hole in your GTAV game disk??

Fifa mainly. Although taken a step back from that recently because the AI is predictable and it's not fun without friends, but even then it can get a bit eh.
At the moment I'm into Borderlands 2 which I'm quite enjoying. Other than those I'm a fan of Assassins Creed, Dragons Dogma, Skyrim and the Uncharted Series.

i enjoyed the uncharted series too, usually not a fan of linear games but my friend recommended it and i pretty much back to backed the entire series... i used to play fifa but the AI has always been predictable lol... waited so long for GTAV that im barerly giving any of my other games a look in at the moment, GTA has always been my favourite game, ever since the orignal top down version and

Played all the GTAs. That Hare Krishna pic, lol. 1st task on that one was always to find and squash those noisy bastards!
Never been into big rotation on games, I'm such an addict that whatever's in my tray tends to stay there for a long time. Used to play FIFA almost all the time, going back to 96, then did the Pro EVO holiday that a lot of people did, switching back to FIFA when the tide turned. Got into the Ultimate Team side of things a few years ago and became part of a mature gamer community on there. Was rotating that with COD for several years but the last couple of them didn't hold my attention long. Now FIFA14 is a bit crap too so thank god for GTAV!
Played a bunch of other things but nothing that has reached the same level of addiction. Would love to get into BF4 but buying another game atm would be a bit of a waste of money.
My 4y/o is showing early signs of intense game addiction too so we very, very rarely put it on while he's up. He goes ballistic when its time to stop. Given him a couple of goes driving round LS, restricting him to freeways and sewers and not stealing any cars. He does love the Lego Batman demo tho.... Might have to get that at some point but I enjoy it myself so...

Back in the day (90's) I used to run two Computer Gaming Centers and we mostly played FPS back then. I still play them today but not on the console. I tried playing some shooters on the console when some guys at work told me to get MW2. I did play it and there were times it was fun but I just can't stand the control scheme of a gamepad with a FPS. I have no problems using it with 3rd Person games though, not sure why, I guess since you have a wider aspect ratio it makes up for something. I guess you could say my tastes have become a bit finicky in the last couple years. I loved and will still play Assassin's Creed 2 series, except for Revelations(couldn't get into that one). I don't much like the newer ones(that finicky side of me) mostly due to the story of them and all these new extra things they keep adding into the games. I love Racing games as long as they are not too serious. I am more of an arcade racer. Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2 were great, Forza Horizon was a ton of fun. Midnight Club LA was a favorite, you can still find some videos of mine on my YouTube channel. Hell, I could go back to those games if I could find some people to play them with. I do not sell my games like a lot of the youth of today, I keep all games I have ever bought. If a game comes out for both the PC and a console, it depends on the mod-ability of it whether I will get for either one. I received Skyrim for free on the Xbox but it was after I had already been playing on the PC and the console version couldn't hold a candle to the PC version. The only reason I would play the Console version is if I just wanted to get the achievements for it now. I think I have over 600 hours played on that game according to Steam. So many wonderful mods, so little time. Currently though, no other games are gathering my interest as much as GTAV is. I am not going to be getting a new console until I see more of what each one is capable of. Currently I am leaning towards the PS4 since it looks more like a gaming console like it is suppose to be and not a media center extension which I already have that covered in a better aspect with my HTPC. The one main thing keeping me from changing over right now is the missing Xbox Live voice chat feature that the Xbox One has, waiting to see how the PS4 fairs with a communication scheme.

Red Dead Redemption got my shooting skiulls up before GTAV, i bought and competed RDR when i preordered GTAV, finishin it just before release. still got undead nightmare to finish though. i used to love the need for speed games, never tried midnight club but its kinda tempted with the car mods side of things, seems more in depth than GTAV

God Of War is my go to when I get bored with games. By far, the best hack & slash games to date.
I also enjoy Far Cry 3. Wasn't to big on 1 and 2 but 3 is awesome to me. Bought it for me. I'm so sick of CoD and Battlefield, I highly doubt I will pick up another one.
Another game I really enjoy is Need For Speed Most Wanted (newest or 2008 version). I'm not a race simulation type of guy. I like the idea of street racing.

I started PC gaming on Quake1 playing through QuakeWorld over dial-up, those were the days, lol. The original TeamFortress was great back then.

I have just completed The Last Of Us. Highly recommend people buy this game. Great story line, amazing realism even though set post apocalyptic and the graphics are next level.

Before GTAO it was Battlefield 3. I don't buy games as much because of where the industry is headed, DLC profit gouging. BUT before that I used to game a lot. I'm still hoping for games to be released and hold their value. Destiny seems to be the big ticket item.

I'm a sucker for a good sandbox game or driving sim. For the most part I'm either playing GTA, Forza/Horizon or Dirt. Assassins Creed and Mass Effect get some rotation. There's a dumb little XBL game called Tacticolor that I like as a semi-mindless time sink.

I have been gaming since pong and spend a good amount of my free time playing video games. I used to be heavy into PC gaming, early MMO games and FPS. .I would spend weekends at LAN parties playing Quake or CS, but have moved towards consoles in the past 10 years (prolly cause I use the PC for work so much). I am a bit one track when I start playing a game, especially if I like it and will definitely get my moneys worth out of it. I am a 100% type of player and have several Platinums on the PSN that I have spent many hours to get. The only type of game I do not play is sports. I prefer racing games but also enjoy RPG, adventure, some puzzle, and action. I enjoy FPS types but am very disapointed with current offerings. Fallout, Bioshock, Dead Space, hitman, Skyrim are a few of the non racing I enjoy. But racing games is my favorite. So many hours in Gran Turismo some would say it is a sickness. I also like to play the DiRT series and F1 2010. My crappy racing / gaming station:

GtaO is my game right now, but you'll see me occasionally playing Mortal Kombat. I love playing as Freddy Krueger. Sub-Zero is the sh*t too. Im a one game kind of guy, but i'll pop in MK for a hour to change things up.
Far Cry 3 before Gta. I had to beat it before Gta came out cause i knew i wouldnt play it anymore. This was the first game i beat in forever because i usually get bored. I wasnt able to beat the Blood Dragon expansion before mid-October though.
Other than that, my KD on Modern Warfare 3 was 1.9. For some reason im pretty good at that game. I go into some kind of hyper reflex mode and when the match is over, im like "what the hell just happened?".
Im not really looking forward to any new games. Im not buying either of the new systems. Im 37, and the graphics and gameplay on the 360 are still amazing to me. So i'll be building up my library of good single player games for the next 2 years. There are sooooo many games for this generation i havent played.

hahah I have that same driving set up for F1 2011 Haven't brought it out in awhile but boy that was fun. Also just saw the post before, I really enjoyed The Last Of Us. The story was great and not full of common cliche's. The gameplay was pretty decent but ultimately it was a story driven game and well worth playing. Not sure if I would pay full for it though (Borrowed from a friend like I do many games because I'm a cheap ass ;p)

I'm a cheap ass too. GTA V was the first new game I've bought since CoD: Black Ops.
I also enjoy the casual MK or Street Fighter. After about an hour though I'm over it for another month.

At the moment i only play GTA:O.
But i am downloading all my Forza 4 / Horizon stuff. Will probably start over in both, since i don't want the XbOne yet, since the only games i would play are DR3 and FM5.. and i don't see spending 500 bucks for 2 weeks of entertainment profitable yet.
Otherwise i play many games if i have time for it.
Old-Gen stuff: Mirror's Edge, Alan Wake, Battlefield, almost every racing game out there, Gears of War etc.
I am pretty versatile, i do play anything if it's interesting from my point of view. Same would go for PC games aswell.

Hey tolly you'd think with all that great gear you could at least shell out some extra dough for something other than a lawn chair and pillow. I do envy the wheel though.

Hey tolly you'd think with all that great gear you could at least shell out some extra dough for something other than a lawn chair and pillow. I do envy the wheel though. LOL, yup. When I first built it I installed a front seat out of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It had the slider and recliner. It was real comfy. Well I sold the car and had to put the seat back in it. I plan to go by the junkyard and get another one someday. This was all built fom scrap I found laying around my shop. I have zero $ in it other than the wheel. I am also planning to get a dash out of some car and install it in front of the wheel. It is an evolution. This is my thrird wheel and fourth rig. It has come quite a way from using the coffee table. I asked Santa for a buttkicker for xmas. That will be a good addition to the rig. I have you completed the 24 hour endurance races in GT5 sitting in this rig. Before the patch that allowed you to save progress

I got a couple Horizon videos on my YouTube channel. Not much but just messing around stuff. You really like the Aventador, eh? But if you ever play Forza again, turn of TCS and ABS, aswell drive in manual gear and sim mode. It's easier and faster, you just have to press some more buttons
