Created this topic out of pure boredom.
All of us have interesting playable characters in GTA:O, but no one knows their back story?
Let your imagination run as wild as it can run.
Include a pic of your character, their favourite car, and the backstory behind their vehicle and their home(optional).
Ill go first.
Pics to come later:)
His name is Charles Fergurson Vanderbilt III, known on the streets as "Speed". Though his birth name would suggest he is from money, he is the furthest thing from it. Well not that far. His mother, Evelyn, was from the wealthy and powerful Vanderbilt family from South Yankton, but she had an affair with her gardener and Charles was the result of the affair. Furious with her promiscuity, she was cast out of the family by her husband and her parents. Her gardener-lover was executed in front of her by her own husband. She hitch-hiked from city to city, trading her body for travel. Eventually, Evelyn settled down in Paleto Bay. She changed her name and found "work" at a bar, The Hen House. Years went by, Charles and his mother jumped from foreclosed home to foreclosed home. Eventually settling down in a trailer in a town called Sandy Shores. Recent gang crime in the town turned the city in a dump. Hookers everywhere, one of them Evelyn,; Motorcycle gangs terrorizing the neighbourhood, turning it from Resort Town to Drug Haven. One night, while doing "business" with a customer, she got a phone call from Charles's babysitter. He had broken his nose trying to climb a tree. Evelyn cut her night short and went to tend to her injured son. Realizing he wanted to go home, she hailed a cab back to her trailer. It was only when they reached their trailerhome, she realized she forgot her wallet in the car of her last client. She desperately pleaded with the cab driver to let her off the hook, but he would not have it. Instead he wanted a another form of payment. He showcased his Vintage Pistol and told her what would happen if she didn't comply. She agreed and ushered Charles into their home, then proceeded to do her dirty deed with the cab driver. Things were going well, until she noticed the cab driver going too far. She screamed out for help into the dark and lonely night, then a pickup truck appeared. By the looks of it it was pretty new and well maintained. The driver exited the pickup and walked over to Evelyn and the cab driver.
"Is everything ok over here?" The man in the red and black plaid shirt and worn-out blue jeans yelled out.
"Its fine man, just gettin' that good stu-"
"PLEASE HELP! , HE"S HURTING ME!!" Evelyn screamed before the cab driver could finish.
She got loose of his grasp and sprinted towards the stranger.
But a few steps before she reached the stranger's arm, she felt something sharp rip through her ankle. Evelyn dropped to her knees at the feet of the stranger. Struggling to get up, she noticed the stranger pick up a sawed off shotgun from his truck, firing it towards the cab driver. Both gunners took cover as Evelyn crawled to safety being a propane tank, in front of her trailer. The cab driver stepped of cover and fired two shots at Evelyn, one hit the propane tank and the other ignited the fuel. Aware of what was going to happen next, the stranger sprinted towards Evelyn and took her to safety in his truck. Putting her down he quickly turned around and fired his killing shot into the chest of the cab driver. As soon as he hit the ground, the propane bottle exploded and destroyed the trailer home. Evelyn realized Charles was inside and she screamed his name. She wept knowing he could not of survived the blast. Then she heard his voice, in the back of the truck. The stranger had saved him. Charles had escaped the house and flagged the stranger down to help his mother. Evelyn happily cried and admired her son's courage and bravery. The stranger, realizing they had no home, took them to his cottage near the lake. Evelyn thanked the stranger, but he only gave her his last name, Phillips.
The years flew by, Evelyn recovered and got a job at a convenience store. Phillips worked as a farm hand with the O'Neill family. Evelyn and Phillips lived a happy life together with Charles. One evening, Phillips found a flyer in the trash. "Now Open! Fort Zancudo Air Force Academy!" Having gotten rejected by the Air Force years ago, he decided Charles would have a better shot at it. Charles was enthusiastic, having this type of opportunity was beyond his or his mother's wildest dreams. At the young age of 16, Charles headed off to the Academy. Little did he know that would be the last time he saw his mother or Phillips.
Evelyn wondered about Phillips's past, who was he, why didn't he sound like the rest of the residents of Grapeseed?
Phillips told Evelyn the truth, at first she was scared. Then realized a man capable of so much violence must be a changed man to take a homeless woman and child into his arms and home. She comforted the man, who's real name was Trevor, Trevor Phillips. Trevor fell deeply inlove with Evelyn after that.
One night, a gang came into Evelyn's store and shot her. Trevor, who was across the street, hurriedly ran over to the store, but he was too late. Evelyn was dead. He cried over her body. His love for her brought his humanity out, and with her death, his humanity was lost. He left the store and went hunting for the murderers, only to find nothing. Later that week, he received a letter in the mail, From Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
"She knew too much Trev, I'm sorry.
-Brad"
Horrified, Trevor fell into a deep state of depression which ultimately led to drug addictions.
As for Charles, he went on to fight the War on Terror in the middle east as one of the top fighter pilots. But one night, it was dark and stormy, the enemy had deployed radar and radio jammers, but missile locks still worked. His squadron split up to eliminate the targets. Charles got a radar lock on, and fired two missiles. Target down he assumed. He took out the four targets that appeared in front of him.
He finally escaped the jamming zone, when he heard that his squadron had been taken out! To his horror, no enemy aircraft were deployed due to the storm. He had taken out his entire squadron. Charles decided to eject and his jet crashed in the desert. The Air Force assumed the squadron had been shot down with no survivors. He was able to pick up a few guns and put his sharpshooting skills to the test. He made his way back to America via some fake passports and assumed a new identity, Speed. He travelled across the country as an up and coming race car driver. He eventually made his way back to Grapeseed only to find Phillips's cottage inhabited by a Motorcycle gang. With nowhere to call home, he took a plane to Los Santos, where he met an arms dealer, Lamar.
Was longer than i expected, added a Trevor backstory that i could expand on. Yours doesn't have to be as long lol, sorry if mine was
