I never knew about this. I suppose it's okay for non-contact, but could potentially fuck up other racers in full-contact if you're not careful.

Oh I was aware of it in IV, but it never crossed my mind to even try this in V.

It works for sure. RACE crew, for example, spend little time on the actual track with wall bashing too if they have discovered that it actually helps on a given track. While I can't but admire their quest for out n out speed at all costs, I'm never doing it. It's ugly, ignorant, unintuitive (for me) and way above all else, creates a complete forest of race ruining junk for anyone stupid enough to be driving on the actual track behind them , which you will be after they have all scooted up pavements, pinged off of walls and every lamp-post for half a lap. Fine for TT's, truly abysmally awful for racing, either contact or the other "gentlemans" option. (sarcasm mode ON).

This seems like the best thread for this random bollox lol. For a while i'd been convinced that wheels made a difference to handling and that i weren't imagining it. When i posted this... ..i was told it was the placebo effect by so many people that i even convinced myself it was the placebo effect because i couldn't put my finger on any other reason...I still can't, i just know lol. Even when i thought it was in my head i still used Low Rider wheels on Muscle cars and Tuner wheels on Super and Sport cars 'cause well....that placebo effect can be a race winner lol Then i heard there was a definitive answer, people were saying Broughy had saved us from our clouded minds and was sharing his secrets and findings about wheel choices all i had to do was watch the video. I watched the video and the findings are...........Off Road tyres go over kerbs better. Now everybody's rushing to LSC for a new set of wheels like this is new lol. It's 2 thousand and late, i remember a thread either here or a RRR thread on GTAF months and months ago with members talking how Off Road wheels fly over kerbs and bumps smoother than High End or Sport wheels do. It makes me El O El because i didn't believe them at the time Cheers for sorting it Broughy.
