Trying to get into video editing and production. Also trying to learn web code… It's a long road, but I'm getting there! On the PC side I use Sony Vegas. I see and can understand Premiere would be a good platform for you on the video editing side of the MAC. If you want to learn web code, I would so some searches on HTML tags and work with Notepad so you get a good understanding on how it works, that way you can get the old school training in early.

I have a copy of Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere so I could use tho! I know all the basics of web code, I dabbled in PHP. Just trying to really get to grips with going further with CSS, Java and HTML5… I hate that my vision and design capabilities outweigh my coding skills…

Heh, I wish I still had my Star Wars collections from when I was a kid. I had probably 90% of all the old stuff. To include the big things, like X-wing fighter, Falcon, Boba's ship... the list goes on. I can't fit a DITTO on this page big enough to do this justice. I had a bunch of the 1st run stuff as well, the cardboard Death Star, Mos Isley bar and all sorts. Actually saw the 1st movie at the cinema, if that doesn't date me too badly, lol. I barely remember the experience, if that helps. Never had enough Stormtroopers...

Some very different hobbies in here, I'm into my cars in a big way, have several moddifed cars IRL, i'm also into photography and used to do a lot of automotive photography before my son was born and it was put on the sideline for a couple of year.

Those are some cool photos. Good work. Reminds me of this site I goto about everyday for my car fix: SPEEDHUINTERSI love the retro JDM and Porsche stuff. Something I found interesting about the PC builders. When I say I built computers, mine are just white (sometimes black) boxes that reside under the desk. I never want to look at the box because I am more interested in the output. I do like the fancy lights and such, cool work.

That was kindof the point though. When i first started with modding almost all computers were cream colored boxes. They were just barely starting to do some black ones. For my first mod, after seeing some people in my forum group. do some custom airbrushwork, was to have my 2 year old daughter finger paint the entire case. It was actually very liked by the community. Then we started digging into adding fans and wirring custom lighting, cutting windows into the side panels. I even had one where i etched a lightning bolt into a piece of plexiglass and used that for the window. Then i wired the hard drive activity light into the edge of the glass so when the harddrive was in use it flickered like real lightning. I have a picture of that i can share when i get home. Once the mainstream companies started swamping the market with modding stuff it was not as fun anymore. Plus i had lost my job and financially couldnt do it anymore.
As for current hobbies? I dive into whatever game im playing head first and never look back until i get bored of it then i move on to the next one. My recent list was assasins creed, dayz, warz, minecraft, starmade, simcity 4, tropico4, apb reloaded, rome total war 2 and now gta5. That was pretty much my last year. My xbox sat untouched for most of that time. I work, come home, play gta then go to bed. I take care of my house needs and cleaning etc when needed but mostly i just game.

There was also the thrill of cutting open a 2000 rig and doing crazy shit to it. I was the first, and as far as i was able to tell, only person to have ever airbrushed (well i paid a guy to do it) a picture on the backside of his motherboard. It was a picture ofa skull. I did this on a 600 dollar motherboard and just so i could have a reason to be the first one with a window on the right side of the PC. It worked fine afterwards by the way.

Okay Tolly... I really appreciate you taking the wind out of my sails. lol I have patience to a point, but to go the levels that guys does, I would have a better chance of surviving a trip to Mars at this point. Simply unreal. On a "slight topic" subject, here's my current W.I.P... Revell Peterbilt 359- By far one of my favorite models to put together. Be my 2nd one and will likely pick up 2-4 more.
Here's my custom stacks. Stock stacks are on the left, custom on the right.
And the motor complete with mild wiring/ plumbing. Truthfully, this little beast has been taking a lot of my time lol

I've a brand new hobby, my son is born a few weeks ago, so currently it's hard to find room for anything else. I'm the singer in a small and unkown band called "Ants ain't Saints", we play and cover all variations of rock, alternative, grunge, punk, metal etc. ...it's all just for fun, but I really love it. Well that's embarrassing, but I've uploaded a vocal cover on soundcloud, maybe you know the german band "Böhse Onkelz"... here you hear me instead of Kevin Richard Russell. I also play a little guitar and bass... but that's all for my musical talents, don't know if anyone else would say "talent" Sports: I've started to grow some love handles and want to get rid of it, so I hope to beat my weaker self to run again more often as in the last year ...not necessarily on marathon level again, but perhaps half-marathon. ...and I like snowboarding, but in this winter we miss the powder here in germany so far. Work: Since 14 years I work in IT business, most of the time as a SAP basis and migration consultant, I've stopped doing projects all over the world now, I liked it, but I want to spend more time at home. I've noticed that many of you have already kids, I'm curious who the oldest, who the youngest and what the average age here is. I think I've a good chance to climb the pole position here... @tbc, would you please post this? If the two guys hide their birthyear, please ask them via PM before you reveal their age or just post the names... anyone else interested in this? /joe

Aaaaaaaaand the level of detail and precision in the way you build your tracks just slots *bang* right into place. Incredible handywork Lance, they're all hand painted I assume, right, each piece? As kimi raikkonen would say; "BWOAH!"

Oh yes, every piece is airbrushed. All the decals are waterslides. The decals on the Peugeot I drawed up on my computer and printed them on my spesial printer.

Gg man, post any more pics if you have them, I havent made models since my father taught me as a boy but I have a great respect for it. My uncle is crazy into plane models and makes some amazing stuff too, always love seeing them.

I know this thread has been inactive, but I’ll share some hobbys outside of games. I play guitar and write my own compositions. Been playing since 2015 and have just auditioned for my school talent show. Music counts as a hobby right? I spend almost everyday listening to music. Mainly rock/metal but I occasionally listen to other genres, mainly 80’s music as a whole I also play Road Hockey and build Igloos and other Snow structures durng winter time. Which is always good fun no matter how old you are
