GTA... I love it, I still have a lot of fun with it, but it has already started to get boring.......... sometimes
Mo-seph is asking a similar question and then he started the "gran turismo" thread, and @swifty is asking who's maybe playing "split/second: velocity"...
ok, there's the "what other games do you play" and the "gran turismo" thread, I thought about this and decide to create a new one...
I've searched the web for racing simulations, on PC, to involve all of you and unite the ps3/xbox areas, this is what I found, at least four of them:
these games are not just arcade racer games, the gameplay is not really good with a keyboard or a joypad, a steering wheel would be more or less mandatory...
Maybe you have another great or better game in mind, I'd like to hear your opinion, is there a chance to get some of you on the sim-tarmac?

I've searched the web for racing simulations, on PC, to involve all of you and unite the ps3/xbox areas, this is what I found, at least four of them:
- auto club revolution (ACR)
it's for free, not bad... and up to 8 people in multiplayer
some of the cars and a lot of modifications is only available for e-coins, you'll have to buy them in the online store... but the most (90%) of them are available for gained credits
- gt legends (GTL)
cost only a few bucks on steam, it's maybe a little old, but I've played this a long time ago, the look and feel is just great... up to 15 opponents online and the community is still active...
- project cars (pCARS) ...not released yet
I saw just a few videos of it, very nice!
they talk about up to 35 multiplayer in a race...
but it will cost the full monty and as I said, it's not released for now, maybe next month, maybe much later...
- raceroom racing experience (R3E) ...multiplayer mode not released
it's also for "free" (with limited content) on steam, in the future this will be a alternative for project cars...
of course there's a online store for more tracks, cars and everything else
these games are not just arcade racer games, the gameplay is not really good with a keyboard or a joypad, a steering wheel would be more or less mandatory...
