Holy hell Coach, 6 mile laps! Added it, aim to run a list this week. Laptop is still knackered so I'm hoping I don't have to get too in depth on my reviews, can't check CP numbers on my phone :/

There's no rush Cuz. Also please don't feel that I'm asking you to just approve it out of hand, if you think it needs changes by all means please tell me.

No worries man, I feel like I'd be short changing you if I didn't mention any edits I thought would improve the course. From a cursory look at the map everything seems in the right place so I would expect to approve it, although I might end up including an advisory note or something.

Curiosity prompts me to ask what is the point of the Gta Online creators thread begun in the last few days on GTAF?. Is it in competition with the pinned, fairly decently run, informative, useful, democraticly judged ps3/xbox approved race thread?. It appears to merely have provided a platform for multiple spamming of content which I note the infamous (to me anyway) WARLORDWEGGYWOO (lol) the obnoxiously egotistical godlike self proclaimed creator of flawless content and supreme leader of the modestly titled World Racing Elite crew has unsurprisingly hijacked rather than submit any of his creations to the critical scrutiny it might have gotten a few vertical column inches away.
P.s just to balance my karma a bit better concerning my ol' bud weggy m8 woo and say something positive about him. He does seem to put a decent amount of effort into entertaining his crew.......and he can't spell, which can be dead funny. That is all.

Not everyone agrees with the methods, attirudes or leadership of those running the pinned threads. They figure they can do better and they are free to do what they want.

Ah, thanks Luap for that little nugget of information. I had no idea they were free to do what they want!. Jolly good luck to them.

Actually, it is a thread that could be pretty entertaining very shortly and well worth following. It is already a leading example of Gold standard spamming, well worth perusing and if my guess is right will likely degenerate into a potty mouthed schoolboy spat any day now. Bring out the popcorn and enjoy m8's

I just wanted to get an outside opinion on stronk's review of my track, Paleto Grand Prix. Am I right in thinking that it's silly to not approve because of aesthetics? "Great track, almost perfect CP's, but the only long walls you can use look bad so I won't approve." I even explained that I wish I could have used concrete barriers, but they're just not long enough to give the effect that I wanted. Those divided stretches are really long, so IMO his suggested fix won't work either since people will still be able to cross over into on coming traffic. I'm not really sure how to reconcile this one. I don't mind criticism of my jobs, I use it to refine and improve what I've made, but this one just seems strange.

It looks to me like he gave half a dozen positives and one half negative. I dont see how that would be a no.
Frankly, I never appreciated their methods on that side. They choose which ones they want to review per judge and tracks get left behind. There is nothing in the guidelines about aesthetics. If it works well then its fine to me. Only time I ever giged people on those containers is if they are on the inside of a turn making it so you can't see where your going.

Stronk is all about strange verdicts. Tbf to him, he's always open to reason and when he does come up with an odd viewpoint, he can normally be persuaded to see where you're coming from. I honestly agree with his reviews more often than not, despite his unpredictability, but he does have a thing about props. As regards your track, I'd have to run it myself to see what he's getting at. Added to game so I'll have a look and see how my review would compare to his. I must admit, I never use containers because of how big and ugly they are.... My 1st thought, from the map, would be simply shortening the length of one of the hairpin stretches to free up prop space. There's enough judges now that his vote isn't crucial and I'm sure that Don, Deej or me could just go in and give it a vote if necessary. If it passes muster ofc

Thanks for guys.
After seeing what Laup said about inside turns I'm wondering if that's Stronk's problem with my track too. The last container in the hair pin does make it hard to see around the turn. But if that was the problem then he should have send so. I sent him a PM to get some clarification.

They choose which ones they want to review per judge and tracks get left behind. This happened very rarely. I can only think of a few and a couple of those were special cases.
