Whenever I try to host a session I rarely get more than 3 players joining, then after the first race no one joins.
A lot of the time no one joins atall and i'll join a new server and try again which sometimes does the trick.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Tried playing with router settings and have an open NAT afaik.
The matchmaking seems to be a pile of crap. I could do a better job in my sleep.

It was exactly this that got me out looking for a racing crew. It was doing our head in, being stuck with just the 2 or 3 of us after a couple races. Much more annoying than demolition derbies.

A) use your lowest rank character, most of the typical people that raced to get ranks no longer race once they get them...they are free roam PvP ing.
B) once you enter the room you are in a que. You have to wait for all the other rooms in the que before you to decide to launch of quit before the matching starts giving you players...and only then does it start matching based on rank, aim choice, and region.
I have had to wait a really long time sometimes and then with my high character it still only drops one or two...if I want randoms to vote on my custom races I always use my low level...which is quickly getting high enough to suffer the same problem.

Ill give it a go with a lower rank character but how does that affect stats on social club? is it a new set or are they added together?

The only things that are shared between your characters are the bank account (not cash in pocket) and your racing win/los ratio (not your awards or unlocks).

I have noticed in the past that when switching characters the stats take a bit for everything to be seen. If you are wanting to use the SC to compare stats to others with one of your characters, to properly see your stats, you will need to play with your character online for a bit for all of them to show up. Just switching characters then logging off will 0's for a lot of stats. Do some random things like getting cops involved for a bit then log off so the cloud uploads all your stats before logging off.

Getting full sessions with my new character now, cheers. =) Didnt realise how strict the matchmaking with various levels was, ive had a few lower level players still join when im over 100.

Yeah it isnt foolproof...it might also be a low level with high racing numbers? I was racing my second toon with over 1000 races at level 3 lol. And i do remember having a wide range of people joining...now im over 80 and im stuck with empty rooms again.

Well, I always have my level 20 to fall back on for us if we want some more lower levels.
