Oh man. I had to get to page 2 before I figured out what was going on. What a tool. Way to go Surly. I so wish I had an Xbox so could have watched that.

It was hardly worth watching. There was 5 seconds of me blowing by him, otherwise it was just me taking a leisurely stroll and waiting for him to catch up before he quit to single player. Kids...

Truth in advertising my friend. You're not the first to notice. The sad part is I was hoping he was just putting on an e-thug show and was actually really good. I thought I might be able to recruit him. Bummer.

That is one recruit I could do without. Some folks are not worth saving.

Ayup. The attitude is unfortunate.
I mean I'm an asshole, I know and embrace that. But there is a time and place for a little respect. He has and deserves none.
Not RRR material.

I may be away but i did what I could. Good advertizing for crew surly. Meh, I'm no stranger to rep'ing respectful, mostly adult car enthusiast/racing clubs in the face of snot nosed, skinny jeans clad ricers. I can hold my own. We get the occasional moron like that trying to cause problems at Subaru club meets or rally events. Turns out I have some severe, severe RAF and I'm not what you'd call "petite". I get mistaken for security every time I go out to a club or a bar. It gets old. Anyway... I end up getting dispatched to convince folks their current course of action is not in anyone's best interest. Oddly enough, cordial conversation is almost always effective. I was just getting warmed up...

OMG some of the things he is saying is hilarious. You 110 so you obviously have no life? Get a job? hah, I am 42 level 129 with a 9to5 job with a wife and mortgage, so I guess that means I have been glitching for over two months? lol.

Get a job? hah, I am 42 level 129 with a 9to5 job with a wife and mortgage, so I guess that means I have been glitching for over two months? lol. Eh, I remember trying to say something, anything about someone to try and save face when I obviously bit off more than I could chew and talked a bunch of trash while doing it. Nothing too surprising there. Ah, to be 16 again.. I'd like to point out that I did, in the interest of fairness, advise him to tell me if he was not familiar with the track and strongly suggested he get some practice in ahead of time if not. Not my fault he assumed I was merely talking trash. I'll admit, there was a little part of me that wanted him to push me more on what I do for a living or what I do in my free time. That would have just been petty and punitive though. I just let him know that if you talk a heap of trash and can't back it up, you're going to embarrass yourself pretty badly if and when you run into someone who knows what they're doing. I was graciously taught that lesson in my teens by some fine upstanding citizens with large blunt objects and a penchant for bludgeoning things... Hopefully he fares a little better than me on that front... Anyway, I already got one RRR1 prospect and access to run with one of the very top leaderboard guys in the world out of the deal so I can see what he does different from me. Job done.
