I've been putting custom tires on my rides and it seems that they do grip just a little bit better in FR. I still have not got to test it in racing mode yet due to all of the server maintenance but it also all may be a placebo effect too. I thought I had read somewhere that Brian B who works for R* on their support forums (I think) said that different tires/wheels do make a difference but he would not elaborate any more than that!

I swopped hi end to offroad on bifta. Certain as i can be that there is a less "edgy" feel from the offroad items.

Yes. Different wheel choices do change how a car handles. I'm aware of my limitations on this game to judge clearly if an option has changed anything or if i'm imagining it because i want to. I think...

From my experience the Bifta handles better off road when it has off road tires, (tyres for those in the UK ). I don't notice a performance difference between the two on pavement. Perhaps it's something to think about as you prepare for the Futo races. If it's going to be a mix of dirt and tarmac you may want off road tires.

Don't know if it makes any difference yet but I have been running SUV tires on my Futo and I swear I am sliding more than the others. Next opportunity I get I was going to switch them to something else and see if it changes.
Suggestions on which would be most likely to stick more?

I've read that tuner and/or high end are supposed to offer the most support (assuming tires do make a difference) from the forums that I've been reading up on this. I'd be curious if you experience any difference with either of those.

My Elegy holds it's back end in check much better since i put lowrider wheels on it. I've got an unpublished track i only made to test cars, driver error, or Placebo effect, is minimal on it.

No one really knows. I've yet to see definitive proof one way or the other. If reddit doesn't know, no one knows, lol.

Doesn't appear to have made any difference to my Puto, that thing still glides like Bambi on Ice at every opportunity !

Yeah after running the playlist on high end tires this time rather than the SUV ones last time I didn't notice any improvement...in fact if anything I got worse lol.

23 votes from great drivers and no one voted for option 3. Shows how modest and serious we are about racing
