Could there be any truth to this?
EDINBURGH, Scotland. (AP) --- A certain captain of the RRRL Eastern Conference team 3-D has been using overinflated tires during games, an unidentified source familiar with the league garage told The Associated Press. The tires, which were found to be a full two pounds over the league-mandated limit, were artificially induced with air sometime after league officials had checked the cars during pre-game inspection. It is not clear at this time how the anonymous tipster came upon this information.
There has been no word as of yet from league officials if the rumor has any basis in fact and no team spokesman for 3-D have yet made any statement.

Someone sounds worried. 'Bag of shite'. Upon an extensive internal audit here at 3-D the following statement has been released: - All allegations against said Captain have been deemed true. However, league officials have decided to take no further action. The gas based compound found in the tyres was thoroughly tested and after countless hours of analysis, the compound was found to be "The Hopes, Dreams and Title Aspirations of all other teams within the RRRL" Naturally, after pre-game inspection this certain compound had increased. This has now been rectified to normal levels. When asked about the investigation Captain Deej had no on record comment to make. - Off record comment "Investigation?!? What F******* investigation? You can go shove this investigation up your f****** a*** you m*****f****** *!#$$# filled with *#!#*# sons of ***#$!, while you're at it go *#*#!#! Your *##!#*#*! With a sausage roll in your *#!#*##!* twice to make *#!#*# sure it *#!#*# with *'#!#*#!$ and banana pudding."

Public Enemies press release (Updated 9/1):
On the field we may smite our opponents ruthlessly, but off the field it's all about the giving back. Here are some tips I can think of that may help out.
* Before you do anything I would suggest going into free play and experimenting with the camera and other settings in the options menu to see what works best. Free play is also good when working on shooting or aerial shots because you have unlimited nitrous to work with.
* One of the best things you could do for yourself is to get good at reading the ball physics. Understanding that the way a ball is hit or how hard it is hit will determine the kind of bounce it is going to take off the wall and being able to get into the right position for the ball before it even gets there. Really this is what the game is all about. It all sounds simple but it can be tricky to get used to. You need to know when the ball is going to circle around the corner but bounce off sharply at the last second into the middle of the field; when your shot is going to bounce inches to the side of the opponents' goal and deflect back towards you so you can reposition yourself; or when your opponent's shot is going to hit high above your head when you are in goal so you don't jump early but can adjust for the rebound. Once again take time to learn how the ball bounces, around the field, off the walls, etc.
* When the ball is relatively low to the ground use the X/jump button. When the ball is slightly higher than that, however, hit the jump button, then when you are at your apex, hit the jump button again to go even higher. I find this most effective usually when defending my own goal but it is effective in almost all situations.
* Side roll to hit the ball. This I use most often when facing straight at one of the walls. When the ball bounces to you jump and roll to the side [X + left/right?] to deflect the ball to the side. I use this a lot when deflecting shots off the wall onto the other team's goal.
* 1 vs. 1 mode I think is a great way to work on ball handling and individual matchups [obviously!]. Seriously though in team games where you are playing in twos or threes you are always getting into 'individual' battles and knowing how to 'dribble' the ball or deflect it around helps immensely to give you an advantage. There is no better way to work on these aspects than in one versus one mode.
* Always collect boosts. And when you can always collect the boosts that regenerate your nitro completely. There isn't a moment in the game when I am not consciously collecting the boosts when I drive over them, and every time I am in one of the corners or have a free moment I go to get one of the full boost pickups.
* To go fast I recommend using boost + forward roll + more boost + another forward roll, etc.. To forward roll just double tap x + hold forward. I have heard that you can also do this if you need to go fast but backwards rather than stopping and turning around (Boost + roll backwards, etc.) but I always forget to try it. I have been accused by my opponents of "teleporting" around the field, of being seemingly everywhere all at once, but really it is nothing more than using forward rolls and boosts alone or in combination with each other and posessing an instinct for knowing where the ball is or is going to be.
* To hit the ball fast use your nitrous just as you strike it. I always use it for clearing the ball out of my zone and getting it up the field quickly.
* Some shots you do not have to jump but instead require you to simply drive into the ball in order to score (such as scoring off the opening kickoff). For these shots using nitro at the moment you make contact with the ball will make the shot go further, faster and higher. Driving into the ball without nitro is sort of like a chip shot in case you didn't want to bank it high off the wall; For other shots it makes more sense to forward roll into the ball just as you hit it. Experiment and find out which works best.
* In the open field one of the best tactics I find useful is just tapping the ball lightly. If I and someone else are going after the ball then just tapping the ball with my car is enough to chip it over my opponent's car so I can drive around them and get my own pass. Just deflecting the ball slightly is enough to throw a lot of people off who cannot maneuver their car quickly enough.
* ALWAYS be mindful of the defensive aspects of the game. Always have at least one person back, either playing in goal when the other team has it in your half of the field or playing the midway point (to keep deflections in) when your team has it in their end of the field. Better players can turn the ball up the field very quickly and you will get burned if you cannot play defense.
* Aerial shots are an advanced technique for getting those reeeaaaaally high shots before almost everybody else. To do an aerial shot make sure you have plenty of boost first of all. More than half I would recommend. Then jump or double jump, tilt your car with the nose up in the direction you want to go, and use your boost. It is important that after you jump you tilt your car in the direction you want otherwise you may just drive into the ground. With full nitrous you could effectively fly from one end of the arena to the other without hitting the ground. Obviously you would need full nitrous for this: the further you want to go the more you will need.

Great start guys, the media has a question for 3-D, do you feel any added pressure or motivation ahead of tomorrows game with WizKid FA after their promotional video that was released today?
And a question to Public Enemies, with rumours surrounding your star player Mackenizie using performance enhancing equipment, and that a new expansion team(PKcrazie and co.) are in talks to join the league, will this affect your mindsets before tomorrows season opener vs DC United?

And a question to Public Enemies, with rumours surrounding your star player Mackenizie using performance enhancing equipment, and that a new expansion team(PKcrazie and co.) are in talks to join the league, will this affect your mindsets before tomorrows season opener vs DC United? Well I can only give my own opinion as my teammates are not here at the time. As for the PED controversy I've been accused of I have been advised by my lawyers not to speak on the subject until the league comes down with their findings, or I should say lack thereof. On the second issue, I am far from an expert on sports but I do consider hockey my true domain and I can say that expansion teams in professional hockey have and always will be the bottom feeders and embarassment of the league. And lastly, so far from being worried about PK joining the league I will say I am actively encouraging it if only because the better opponents we defeat the greater the glory we will accrue as a result.

Commissioners United was caught off guard in game one by the Mackeneziebot's teleportation device. We were able to fight back and make things close in games two and three however we ultimately fell victim to the prolific use of lag switches by PE. RRRL president Speed Blatter has initiated a full investigation.

In a shocking move Commissioners United has traded their first round selection, Speedster0595, to Love Fist FC in exchange for the last man off the board, xDeleriousMindx. Speed had to waive his no trade clause before the trade could be approved, but he clearly was glad to go. Speed reportedly said, “Wargo is a terrible team manager. I wouldn’t let him run a gas station, never mind a football club.”
No one from Love Fist was available for comment. They were elbows deep into some other business. -------------
In other news Commissioners United is now being rebranded as Disconnection United. DC United has brought AT&T on as a team sponsor.

What!!!??! These are football clubs? LATE BREAKING NEWS!
New report coming from an unnamed source claiming Mackenizie has been telling balls boys that if the balls are a little under-inflated that's totally fine. Apparently a lower pressured ball sticks to a car for fraction of a second and allows for better directional aiming and control. The source couldn't provide any details on how only Mackenizie could use these balls while the rest of the players couldn't. Wild speculation Initial report claims it may be related to the teleportation device incident that seems to have been suspiciously swept under the grass by the Commissioner of Player Safety, who also happens to have been involved in the previously mentioned trade. As always, stay tuned to Red Rum Fox News for the latest details.
Disclaimer: All reports have been totally NOT made up thoroughly fact checked before hitting the news wire. Red Rum Fox News absolves itself from any claims of slander because we are just reporting the story. We didn't think you would actually BELIEVE anything we said.

MackenizieYour team was publicly humiliated by the powerful trio in 3-D, Do you feel the pressure of carrying your team affected your team's performance? Or was it simply that this wasn't a fair fight? I wouldn't say we were "humiliated", Speed. After all, 3-D did get thrashed the first game and had to defeat us in overtime in the third one. Hopefully their two wins have lulled them into a false sense of security when they meet us again for our rematch. I have a teammate in fifth place for goals scored and both contending for the top two spots in assists. Contrary to popular belief I cannot be everywhere on the field at once and these guys are there to round out this team and make it the championship contender that it is.
