I was just thinking it might be steak, but the cheese factor should certainly be considered.
Mac'n'cheese is an astute guess, and I like where the thought process is going. I'm sticking in a similar territory by guessing you had a Lasagne with a side salad.

Marinated & chargrilled featherblade steak, Italian-spiced skinny fries, pickles & crunchy kale slaw Either that or macaroni cheese. nice guess, but its not quite right.... the chilli conversation is probably the closest weve got so far... and the actual meal has been mentioned once in skype chat.... either way it went very well with a crisp cold beer (unfort a kronenberg but its just what was in the house) my work colleague suggested sausages and beans as his first guess.... i think hes consulting with PK - hes on guess 6 @pk wrong country of origin.

Chicken enchiladas, with a red chili sauce. And of course a sprinkling of queso blanco.

It's chicken fajitas (grilled peppers, grilled onion, sour cream, guac, grated cheese - mozzarella?) and a side of Uncle Ben's microwave Mexican rice.

It says on wiki chilli con carne originated in texas so my guess is the classic blazing saddles dish of BAKED BEANS. . . .

PK strikes again DIdnt have any guac though, the avocados in the shop werent ripe enough for me to make any (he say recalling the time mrs sent me to the shop at 12:30am to buy avocadoes to make proper guac, #preggoproblems) ps, told you i have unaturally wide thumbs So whats for tonights dish,, agian im compeltely blind at the moment, mrs is picking something up after the school run, could be something simple, could be something gormet... I never can tell (which is what spawned this game in the first place).

Marinated & chargrilled featherblade steak, Italian-spiced skinny fries, pickles & crunchy kale slaw Either that or macaroni cheese. unfort a kronenberg Blasphemy. Nowt wrong with a wee tin/glass/bottle/pint of the old 1664. Although I'd walk past it for some Staropramen or some Budvar. On topic: Stuffed crust pizza with chili dip. Simple, yet tasty.

On topic: Stuffed crust pizza with chili dip. Simple, yet tasty. There's the real blasphemy! Stuffed crust is frowned upon here in Chicago, but is only a venal sin. But chili dip? Chili fucking dip!?! That's just... I'm at a loss for words. Unacceptable. Unless something is being lost in translation, like the whole fries/chips/crisps thing, I may have to issue a temp ban and lock this topic.

well it wasnt pizza, altho it does fit in with my beige comment from earlier... Might be a clue
And its been suggested once already... Certainly was tasty, no gravy though.
@coach, dont think theres a translation issue, your disgust is genuine and noted..altho how chilli dip is what got you and not deep fried mars bar ill never know lol

I actually tailored the dip flavor to Mo's pallete not my own, I'd be a garlic mayo man with my pizza, maybe chive too, alas poor Maurice has a garlic allergy.
(Chili dip is a good alternative though)
Thin and Crispy Stuffed Crust: Bonus Cheese
Stick that in yer deep pan Chicago pizza pie and smoke it.

Justnas a heads up, im also allergic to nuts, so no satay or cashew kormas or indeed pistacio icecream... Much to my anoyance as it only developed when i was about 13
Anyways, guesses are a bit thin on the ground today, someone needs to challenge pk's dominance

Yeehaa. I had nice mushy peas once, at a pub last summer. Every other time- bleurgh! Only had them then cause my boy refused to eat them. They were kind of gourmet style so thought I'd try em.

@coach, dont think theres a translation issue, your disgust is genuine and noted..altho how chilli dip is what got you and not deep fried mars bar ill never know lol It was the chili dip combined with pizza that got me. On it's own chili dip is fine. I'm come from the country that invented deep fried Twinkies, deep fried Oreos, hell we even figured out a way to deep fry ice cream. Deep fried Mars bars, that's pretty pedestrian. lol
