Welcome to the RedRumRacing Forum!
Our humble little crew started life back in Nov 2013, following a group of clean racers getting together through the GTA Forums. We all took pride in racing clean and playing fair. Since then we’ve grown from strength to strength, pushing 100 members, bridging the console divide and receiving new requests to join the crew on a daily basis. There came a point that we grew so large we needed our own space, so here it is.
The Red Rum Racing forum is for all Red Rum Racers and Non Crew Members alike. For our RRR brethren it’s a place to share our crew exploits, chat, chill and get tips and hints from other Members. For those of you not yet initiated into our little crew you will find a friendly bunch of laid back racers with one common ethos, to race clean and abide by the Gentleman’s Guidelines. Your welcome to come and join our little community and if you like us why not stay for a while and join Red Rum Racing. You can find the next recruitment session for your Locality and Console in the Recruitment Section
Our Community is a friendly environment and we expect all our members to adhere to the community’s Terms of Service as well as the following these User
Guidelines:
Search First, Post Later
As the forum grows there’s likely to be a thread for pretty much anything you can think of. To keep the forum nice and clean please search first, before posting your thread. If theres already an ongoing thread feel free to get involved. If there’s not an existing thread then your welcome to start a new topic, in the relevant section of the forum. We dont want to spend all day moderating, we'd much rather be racing you on the Streets of Los Santos and Backwoods of Blaine Country
Respect your peers
As we have mentioned above we are a friendly community and expect all of our members to conduct themselves in a respectable manner. Your fellow members and moderators are not here to take abuse so please make sure you treat everyone the same way you would like to be treated yourself. Were a no douchbaggery crew and that goes both ways, we wont be heavy handed in moderation or censor your freedom to opinion, in return we expect you not to act like a child if we do need to remove content. Where necessary we will try and explain our actions to be as fair as possible
Thumbs Up
If you like someone’s contribution or thread then give it a thumbs up. Its always nice to have some positive feedback and to know what people like and don’t like. If it makes you giggle, helps your gameplay or just generally needs some props, get your thumbs out and stick them skyward. Thgis s especially relevant in the Content Creator section.
Self Moderation
Our little community may grow too large for us to review every post created which is why we expect all our members to “self-moderate”. All we ask is that you don’t post any content which is in direct breach of our terms of use or is clearly unfit for the forum. As a general rule of thumb if your not sure then its probably best not to post. We don’t condone any illicit, illegal, pornographic or discriminatory content, please bear this in mind and refrain from trolling horrendous porn or other such vulgarity.
Glitching, Hacking and Cheating
Although we welcome open and frank discussion of glitches, cheats, hacks etc. and their effects, we do not condone the posting of any videos, guides, links or otherwise to any content regarding how to execute glitches, cheats or hacks. As a crew we race clean and expect a clean perspective of our crew members. We understand your free to do with your game as you please, but we don’t want to see this in the open community. If you do post any links to any material indicating how to glitch or hack it will be removed, continued violations will result in warning and bans as necessary. After all you can find most of this material on other Forums or using Youtube and Google, so there’s no place for it here.
Protect your Privacy
All questions & posts on the community are public as such take care not to post any personal information in your content such as your address, bank account details or anything else that could be used to invade your privacy. I cant stress how important this is… Also some members, for personal or professional reasons, prefer to retain a level of anonymity in their online conduct. Please respect this and do not release any personal information of any other members of the Red Rum Racing forum or crew. This will be deemed a severe breach of our guidelines and dealt with accordingly.
Report Abuse/Inappropriate Behaviour
Next to every post is a "Report" link this should be used anytime you identify content which you feel is inappropriate or otherwise goes against these guidelines or the RedRumRacing terms of service. All reports will be investigated and if needed content removed. In extreme cases users will be removed from the forum permanently, but we would like to avoid this where possible and will give guidance on how to improve conduct before this stage is ever reached. We hope you never have to use it, but its there should you need to.
Most of this is pretty much just a matter of courtesy, provindg your posts here are a reflection of your conduct on the race track, gentlemanly/ladylike and with respect to your peers, your guarenteed to never have to worry about what your posting. However, We do kinda have to have these, as a point of reference and guidance.
If you have any questions on the Terms of Use or the RedRumRacing Forum Guidelines feel free to give me a shout and ill be happy to talk.
