There's easier ways to do it now. You can switch place a Cabin practically anywhere then place a ramp on it, rinse and repeat

I'll see if i can find some when i get a chance. I might take some pics and try to do a little guide myself because i know refuso wanted to know how to make loops

Copying the video doesn't work! I might have to stop skipping to the part I need and listen to all of it

Any help for stacked ramps that occasionally turn into brick walls ? I have made some that 9 times out of 10 players will clear but occasionally some (including myself) drive into them and they are solid, how can this be avoided ? (looking at Deej for words of wisdom here !)

Use that little tip I told you Don. Once you've got the ramp where you want it, pick it up and cancel. This will sink the ramp down by about 2 inches in game, and the 'on flaps' should disappear a little. Its them damn 'on flaps' that the front splitter/spoiler hits, causing the brick wall effect.

That way still leaves bikes hitting them like walls.
You have to stack them to the point you want, then delete the ramp under the last one...dont edit it, use square and delete it. Then place a ramp in it's place. That places the launch end of the ramp over the stick out front bit of the ramp above it. Do that working backwards to the 1st ground ramp and it will be smooth for bikes as well as cars.

I believe I am already doing what Deej has stated, I'm a bit lost at what Swifty is telling me lol I'll grab one of you in chat soon for some help - Thanks for the assistance though I get it. You want the lower ramp to overlap the one above it rather than the other way round. You put one down, the next one you stack on top will overlap that lower one. By deleting the lower one and replacing it, that one becomes the one that overlaps. So you get \ \ instead of \ \ That right?

Swifty is saying build your ramps from top to bottom Nitty. I didnt suggest this as I struggled to get lower ramp below the one above. I guess you could do this using the switching trick, unfortunately you will only be able to do this with small ramps. Unless Swifty knows something I don't...

Ok, the hell with stacking! Just spent 30min getting a float pile on a float pile and getting stuck with the electric box on top of that. Torn enough hair out now.
I don't get how this isn't unbelievably time consuming and frustrating.

Lol n00b. 30 mins to get one float pile on another, then an electric box? 30 minutes? You're doing it wrong then lmao. 10 seconds, max.

Don't worry Cuz your not only in your struggles. I gave up on stacking for the same reason. I found it to be extremely frustrating, and the only times I got it to work seemed to be by accident.

Put a float pile down where you want your stack to be. Put another float pile down. Pick up second float pile. Place on top of first float pile. Put down electric box. Pick up electric box and put on float pile stack.
30 mins?

It wouldn't go on man, I tell ya. Seemed be a square nanometer where it would accept it and then I couldn't get it to accept anything on the 3rd level. In car view, max reach? Fuck it, I don't even care anymore!

Ah. I see your problem. DON'T USE THE CAR VIEW FOR STACKING UNLESS IN A TUNNEL!
Overhead view ftw.

Once you realise all you need to do it really baffles me how I was so confused !! Fuck straight stacking anyway, curved ramps are easier and more fun ! easy steps 1 place small ramp 2 place electric box on ground 3 place above electric box on ramp 4 edit elec box to small ramp 5 line up ramp how you would like it 6 change back to elec box and place 7 pick up elec box and press dpad to side once and x to place DONE Only trick is finding the rhythm of the switch and place, once you do its like turbo starts it will naturally happen ! Trust me Deej took a lot of time and patience on trying to teach me and it did not make sense then one day it just clicked

I should of perhaps added that the wall effect I am experiencing is happening to curved ramps not straight stacked, bit confused on how I would re lay the bottom ramp for this ?
Place a chevron and switch to ramp ?

Using signs makes the ramps connect together better than the electric box and you get more freedom where you can place them it just takes a little longer if the ramp doesn't place. Instead of pressing left back to electric box then then right x to place, you have to press right, down, right, up, left x. All done with a roll of the thumb in half a second when you get the hang though.

I'm guessing yes, using right turn chevron. I find that annoying if you cant get the rhythm right Don.

Ah. I see your problem. DON'T USE THE CAR VIEW FOR STACKING UNLESS IN A TUNNEL! Overhead view ftw. Ah, ha! I thought you could only stack from ground level. This changes everything. I assume it works the same way for DM and capture creation as well.

Ah. I see your problem. DON'T USE THE CAR VIEW FOR STACKING UNLESS IN A TUNNEL! Overhead view ftw. But it never accepted the stack then, not even an electrical box. ?? Don't need platforms anyway now, I've got cranes.

At about 3.20 he says you can't use the box you have to start using signs. If you're switching just use signs from the start. You can place them nearly anywhere and at any angle in any direction.
At 4.33 you can see the front of the ramps, even if you pick up and cancel that ramp when you hit it with a bike you die, or even some cars.

Seriously. Why can't I stack a bleedin thing? What's the bloody secret? Nothing I try from the tutorials works.
Ok, I managed 3 small ramps before no longer being able to put the electric box on top....
I hate this.
Just can't get it to accept the electric box on the 3rd ramp.
Ok, 4 ramps! But goddammit this is frustrating stuff. So much switching back n forth.
Alright, alright, I think I'm getting there.... Ignore me.
