Latest From R* www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52217/Grand-Theft-Auto-Online-Spring-Updates?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=20140402gtaospringRunning out of space to store all your vehicles or just looking for another place to chill? You’ll soon be able to own multiple properties in GTA Online as part of the forthcoming High Life Update. Get ready for lots of exciting Grand Theft Auto Online updates to be added throughout the spring and beyond. Here's a brief rundown of some of the new content, features, and enhancements that you can expect to see barreling down the La Puerta Freeway in the months to come. SPRING GAME UPDATES Capture Creator: Coming next week, the Creator community will be able to make their own original customized Capture Jobs and add to the over 3.5 million (and counting) player-created Deathmatches and Races currently available on Social Club. Strategically place pick-ups, define weaponry, set location, and tweak tons of other variables to make your own unique Capture Job for others to take on. We will also be reviewing your homemade Capture creations to stamp standout experiences as Rockstar Verified. The High Life Update: The High Life Update will allow you to expand your foothold in Los Santos with new high-end apartment options, the powerful Bullpup Rifle, new wardrobe items, the Dinka Thrust motorcycle and three new lavish cars to choose from, including the Super class Pegassi Zentorno. The High Life Update will also feature the debut of multi-property ownership in GTA Online, which means you'll be able to own two distinct properties (with garages) simultaneously. All this plus the new Mental State player statistic, which is designed to let you see just how passive or psychotically unhinged fellow players in your session really are, and a slew of new Jobs. Heists: Coming this spring to Grand Theft Auto Online, team up with your most trusted Crew members or with random other mercenaries in Grand Theft Auto Online to pull off cooperative Heist Missions for glory and profit. We know many in the GTA Online community have been looking forward to this update — stay tuned for much more information to come. And later this year, look for even more additions to both Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V, including more holiday-themed updates, some very exciting Story Mode DLC and much more. The new Dewbauchee Massacro and Pegassi Zentorno racing down West Eclipse Blvd. CONTINUING REFINEMENTS BASED ON YOUR FEEDBACK Ever since the launch of GTA Online, we've been continuously monitoring how the community is playing the game as well as all player feedback sent to us at our GTAOnline@rockstargames.com address to see what you’re liking, disliking, and what should be addressed in upcoming GTA Online Title Updates. A recent update addressed an issue that we saw with the way motorcycles and bikes handled while in the air. As it turned out, many members of the GTA stunting community were disappointed to discover that this fix made pulling off certain popular bike tricks and stunts virtually impossible, so we're going to be restoring the original in-air motorcycle/bike physics in an upcoming Title Update. In general, we are open to keeping unintended ‘glitches’ in the game if players enjoy them and they aren’t causing any negative impact to gameplay or fairness in any way. Renowned GTA stuntman Kwebbelkop upon hearing about our plans to roll back the handling update. There are many other ongoing improvements to expect as we continue to dedicate attention towards refining and ensuring the most fair and fun experience possible for everyone. In upcoming Title Updates and via dynamic tuning, you can expect: The addition of a 'Non-Contact' option for Races. This will allow you to play standard Races with collisions disabled between player vehicles. Other players will appear as semi-transparent and you'll still be able to collide with non-player traffic, structures and other scenery, but this mode - for those who want to play it - will eliminate the "rubbing is racing" mentality that some wish to avoid. Players will be able to call Lester and have him tell his cop buddies to turn a blind eye to any crime you may or may not be committing for a short period of time. As a reward for players who leave feedback on Jobs, there will be some bonus RP granted every time a player likes or dislikes content after playing it. GTA$ payouts will be increased when completing Parachute, Races, Deathmatches and LTS Jobs with less than 4 players. As part of our ongoing commitment to target cheaters and keep the game as fair as possible, we are closing RP exploits and will be adjusting the RP totals of players who we know for certain to have gained illegitimate RP by cheating. Your RP will only be adjusted if you participated in mods, hacks, DNS redirects, manipulation of cloud files, or other similarly nefarious behavior. If you grinded short legitimate missions or otherwise gained a small amount of RP without modding, your RP should not be affected by this correction. We’ll be fixing the issue where players who had upgraded personal vehicles prior to Title Update 1.10 were only able to sell them for $10,000. These are just a few of the ongoing tweaks and enhancements in the works — and as mentioned above, we are interested in hearing what YOU want to see, so please hit us up and let us know what you'd like to see added to the world of Grand Theft Auto Online.

That non contact option is enticing, but so unrealistic

Could not be less interested about non contact or more excited about more garage space and new stuff to put in it. Not overly enthused by those cars but more competition among supers would definitely be welcome. Hoping the new motorbike will be cool as well. Everything else, well, not that fussed tbh. Would rather see the nerfing of race payouts undone across the board, they're so lame atm. Worst thing about that article, the words 'coming months'.

I am positive on all of it except ghost racing. My experience racing ghost drivers has not been good. I will need to see how it plays but I am not feeling good about it.

Ghost racing should just be used with randoms - thats all. No point using it in our races, its like taking a big part of racing away.

Really looking forward to this, finally more garage space.
Shame about the ghost but I guess this is a option, although I did see a few saying Ghost would be a good idea in the PS3 chat room the other day

Ghost time trials with everyone on track at the same time blocking your view in tight races and with trolls doubtless felling lamp-posts and anything else available into your path. Not racing. That is all.

I just realised that if I get a new property I can keep all my beloved cars now and treat the new one as a racing only garage, yay. My current garage(s) are full of cars that I like and above all think look good, so my choices aren't exactly oriented towards racing but now I can have the best of both worlds Now I just need to get some of that serious skrilla. I'm always so poor.

Ghost driving could be a leadup to pink slip racing.
I know I wont like it though. I always hated the ghost in time trials in other games and turned it off. When I race I am rarely looking at my car...I am looking a block or so ahead so the car is more or less just a shape in the foreground. Adding a ghost will confuse or blur the shape and cause mistakes. I cant imagine how confusing 16 cars all diving for apex in corner one will be.

I felt like that about FR for a while until I discovered the joy of getting a choppa, landing on tower blocks and then sitting there with a heavy sniper muppet hunting!!

I felt like that about FR for a while until I discovered the joy of getting a choppa, landing on tower blocks and then sitting there with a heavy sniper muppet hunting!! Ah, if only I had the time, lol. All I do in open FR these days is spawn, stand on some corner like a lemon while I msg/organise PLs and then vanish. If someone wants to come spawn kill me in that time I'll barely even notice... Thought of another decent bet. Additional garage-multiple car loss. Actually, what made me think of that, my bro, Gills, lost all his 1st char cars the other day. Was switching between his 2 bods and his 2nd garage overwrote his 1st. His 2nd was a lot cheaper and not race oriented so its a bit of a kick in the teeth. Submitted a ticket to R* but you know... Currently working thru glitches to cut out the middle man and restore it for himself. There's one where you can sell dupe supers for full price, eg 720k for a full mod Adder. Involves owning a Weazel/Eclipse apartment and a bunch of other bits. I can definitely imagine multiple properties opening up some of this nonsense.

Yeah, first thing I thought when I read we'll be able to rearrange cars in garages was "yay, we get to choose what cars lose insurance" lol. *Still not over losing Asea*

Just in case you didn't know, you know you can buy an Asea from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $12,000 right? It was added with the Business Pack DLC. I realize you probably got rid of it to make room for something but just a heads up (I didn't notice at first). Edit: don't know why the quote isn't working, still getting to grips with this forum

IKR, the sole reason I have a second character is because I found out there was this rare car you could stickerbomb and only get if you chose it in the first race About the quote thing? Must be because I deleted some of your post as I only wanted to quote the Asea part? Only thing I can think because this worked fine....... Edit: it did

so how do you guys plan on filling your second garages? right now mine is race oriented to a certain degree (monroe instead of z type, etc. cars that arent "the best" but are still competitive enough), i think ill start to fill the second one with racers as well (adder and bati are on my radar for drag type races, maybe grab an SUV and off roader as well finally) and then spend the last couple slots on cruisers. i do miss owning a stratum so im excited at the prospect of owning one again

Probably get the missing race vehicles I don't have then fill it up with the fun/most customisation option ones that I got rid of Bati, Turismo, Sanchez, Elegy, Feltzer, Dominator, Sandking, Phoenix, A custom compact (haven't even looked into this class yet - Blista best?), The 3 new vehicles... Oh, I'm out of space again EDIT: Forgot I need a custom SUV too

Fuck SUVs!
Blista is the best compact really. Issi is as fast but spins out too easily. The others are cack. Themed DLC i'd really like? Hot hatches (that's compact racers, you filthy buggers). Love me a bit of Blista racing but it'd be nice to have some more compact vehicle choice, some more mods and some specific races/events. Till there's a 2nd garage, no one will bother anyway.
Probably get meself- Bifta, Rebel, Sandking XL, another coupe, another muscle car, the 3 new DLC motors and the bike and then reconsider all of that because I only had one spot left for whatever I'd forgotten. The Youga. Yeah, probably just one of the DLC cars then. The super... or the sport... or both and be done with it.

i second the hot hatch DLC idea, theyre fun little cars but definitely lack the extra bit of something to make them really popular. i think if they added in some more like a GTi or a focus itd be for the best.
